HOW TO MEASURE FOR A WIG
The size of the doll size in inches, has no relationship to the size of the wig, shoe, or accessory you are ordering.
That is to say an 18" doll can take a
wig size 4-5; 6-7; 8-9; 10-11; 12-13; 14-15; 16-17, depending on the circumference of the head.
All dolls are not created equal.
Please Measure according to instruction chart
Wrap a cloth tape measure around the circumference of your doll's head just behind the ears and across the forehead.
Measurement should be in inches.
Most wigs have a stretch type cap which provides flexibility in sizing.
This stretch cap makes it easier to place the wig on the dolls head.
EXAMPLE: If your measurement of the dolls head is 14 5/8" a wig size of 14-15 is correct.

Partial Cap vs Full Cap
A Partial Cap is a small circle or oval cap at top of head only, where you apply the glue to that.
Then brush the hair down over the rest of the head. Creating a very thin look.

- 8-9 Wig: 12" dolls
- 9-10 Wig: 17" dolls
- 10-11 Wig: 17" dolls
- 11-12 Wig: 17" dolls
- 13-14 Wig: 19" dolls
- 13-15 Wig: 19" or 22" dolls
- 14-15 Wig: 22" dolls
- 16-17 Wig: 30"-36" dolls
The size given is reference to the circumference of the doll’s head. (Example: Most 12” baby dolls have a head circumference of 8 to 9 inches.) If you are unsure of the size wig your doll needs use measuring tape to measuring the head from the back (at the base), up behind the ears, and meeting together at the top of the forehead.
